Monorail Espresso was the first "Coffee cart" in Seattle, back in the 80's They have since moved to a permanent location in Seattle, the shop may look like a hole in the wall, but the coffee is fantastic, the baristas are all very cute too which really helps.

From its diminutive black counter comes some of the tastiest cups of espresso ever wrought, its caffeinated goodness cutting through morning murkiness like a lighthouse beam through the rolling fog.Double shots are standard, there's usually a line, and it's cash only. It's also all outdoor seating that's usually occupied by a wizened vanguard of bike messengers so plan accordingly if the drizzles are rolling in.
